To the nearest beach Turtle Beach is 5 km or 5 min drive by car. The local route taxis operate between Scarborough and The Whim .They cost less than $1.00 US/one way /person and are easy to stop by the side of the road .There is no special taxi stand in Whim . If you like to hire a car we can arrange one for you at the present rate. There is a Mini Mart to purchase food items, one vegetable shop and a fast food parlour in the village.
