Since year 1991 Tiina and Lion have lived and built two houses in Whim. When you build your own house there is always more love and passion put on it.
Lion is a self learnt and trained builder. He was born and grew in Back Hill, Whim. The villagers named him by Lion as his Rastafarian life style and a hard working man. Besides construction he finds delights in gardening. Lion is also a perfect guide in nature trails, hikes by the rivers and waterfalls. As a matter of fact Lion is so well known and liked, that you will realize you are welcome to visit every house in Whim and villages in Tobago accompanied by him.
When Tiina finished her studies in The Academy of fine art and craft in Finland she came to Tobago where her life time adventure started year 1990. She has indulged the local culture and heritage in her vibrant painted fabrics. She also manages a well known gift and craft shop Batiki Point in a small fishing village called Buccoo. With the help of Lion and Tiina you can highlight your holiday in Tobago by a memorable journey into art by painting your own sarong, fabric or t-shirt for a small cost of material and appreciation fee.
